2020 a year in review

I don’t have to tell all of you what a crazy year it has been!! Is it just me or was that the longest shortest year ever!! I came into 2020 fresh off the loss of my dad ready to deep dive into a new season of work and help mom assimilate into her new normal. Im not one that pauses well. I like to keep moving. This year has definitely tried to teach me to chill the eff out a bit. The business , like sooooo many others, took a huge hit this year! Barry and I both work in the service industry and continue to reassess and pivot where we can. #thefrontstepsproject saved me mentally, and as a community we raised $4000 for the local food bank doing porch pics! I am grateful, I am so grateful that I am able to live in a place where people care about each other, have a roof over my head and have access to food. I am grateful my friend Deb and I took a leap and partnered in Whitelite candle company!! I am grateful for my husband who is so creative and strong at his job and doesn’t give up even on the hardest days! I am like a lottery winner with how grateful I am for my 2 daughters who cope daily, but stay positive and continue to push through and challenge themselves!! I am grateful for my Mom who is one of the strongest women I know and I am grateful for all of you!! Thank you so much, this year more than ever,  for the support you have given me one way or another!! thank you for filling my heart with your experiences! There are no words to ever convey how much it means to me and my crew. Thank you for thinking of our local businesses and restaurants that are still in the thick of it, you have kept the lights on for a lot of them. Stay safe and positive and help each other….here are just a handful of moments from this year to reflect onas we welcome 2021
